The sequel to Backflip Studios’ best selling
mobile game launches with a little love.

Hasbro’s Backflip Studios turned to Havoc for their first ever major marketing push to launch the sequel to DragonVale, their best selling mobile game of all time.

To create awareness for the new game, we wrote a story around the central gameplay of breeding dragons to be featured in a launch film. Working with our production partners at The Mill, we brought these new game characters to life in incredible cinematic detail.

Havoc then used these high-end CGI renders as key art assets for the entire marketing push. Insights from our positioning strategy drove design of the pre and post launch sites and other consumer acquisition touchpoints.

In addition to building awareness, we also drove significant customer acquisition with an effective mobile video campaign, created in close collaboration with our production partners at Conscious Minds.
